Emma White
Clinical Psychologist
Emma is a Clinical Psychologist who has been fully registered with AHPRA since graduating from QUT with a Masters of Clinical Psychology in 2014. She holds associate membership with EMDRAA. She has worked in a range of settings including Queensland Health community mental health teams, headspace, private mental health hospitals, EAP services and private practice. In these spaces she has facilitated groups as well as delivered one-on-one therapy.
Emma has experience in providing psychological services to a broad range of adolescent and adult clients who may struggle with navigating life transitions, mood disorders, anxiety conditions, emotional dysregulation issues, relationship issues and trauma.
Emma’s therapeutic style is warm and welcoming with the aim of working with the client’s goals to achieve shifts and changes that are impactful and meaningful. She draws primarily from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Schema Therapy, Compassion Focussed Therapy and Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing.
